Can my car be scrapped in any condition?

Yes, we can scrap any car whether it is running or a write off. Simply tell us the registration number of the vehicle and where it is located, and we will handle the rest for you.

How do you collect my scrap car?

We will arrange a time with you and a fully trained member of staff will collect your scrap car with a specialised vehicle. Scrapping your car with us is safe, easy and fast.

What do I need to do when you collect my scrap car?

You need to make sure your scrap car is accessible and not locked away in a garage. If you have the V5 logbook and car keys, please give them to our driver when they arrive.

Can I drop my scrap car off to you?

Yes, you can, simply bring your paperwork and ID with you and someone from our team will meet you at our yard.

Which documents do you need to scrap my car?

We require a photo ID and accept the following:

  • Valid UK driver’s license
  • Valid UK passport
  • Valid European passport
  • Valid UK biometric immigration document

We also require a proof of address and accept the following:

  • Credit or debit card statement
  • Bank statement
  • Council tax or demand letter
  • Utility bill (gas, electricity, water)

Please note, all proof of address documents must be dated within the last 3 months. Mobile phone bills are not accepted.

When will my scrap car be collected?

Once you complete the online scrap my car quote form, we will contact you with an offer. If you are happy with the price offered, we will then arrange a suitable time for collection.

On the agreed date of collection, we will call you to let you know the driver is on their way.

What happens to my scrap car once you collect it?

Your car will be professionally recycled in an authorised treatment facility. Your car will be turned into scrap metal and non-recyclable items will be disposed of responsibly.

If you are scrapping the vehicle as part of a Scrappage Scheme, you will need to notify us ASAP.

Will the DVLA be notified when my car is scrapped?

Yes, we contact DVLA when your vehicle has been scrapped and they will issue a certificate of destruction. You can use this certificate to claim a refund on any unused road tax.​
